Kanatal & Tehri Lake Weekend Escape – 2 Days from Delhi
Trail Overview
Trade the city for a night in the Garhwal hills. This weekend trip packs Kanatal's skywalk and zip line, the hilltop Surkanda Devi Temple, a bonfire evening, a splash of water sports at Tehri Lake and the Ganga Aarti at Rishikesh into two easy days, and gets you back before Monday.
Listed price is per person on double sharing (two in a room), plus 5% GST.
Itinerary Trail
• Pickup from Delhi between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM (timings are tentative). • Dinner on the highway is self-paid. Sleep on the way to the hills.
• 10:00 AM – Reach Kanatal, check in and freshen up. • 11:00 AM – Breakfast at the property. • 12:00–2:00 PM – Skywalk and zip line activity. • 2:00–3:00 PM – Lunch (self-paid). • 4:00–6:00 PM – Surkanda Devi Temple on the ridge, with wide valley views. • 7:00 PM – Dinner, bonfire and music at the property.
• Breakfast and check-out by 11:00 AM. • 12:00–2:30 PM – Tehri Lake. Water sports (jet ski, banana ride, speed boat) are self-paid. • 2:30–3:30 PM – Lunch (self-paid), then drive to Rishikesh. • 5:30–8:00 PM – Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, time permitting. • 9:00 PM – Overnight drive back to Delhi, reaching around 4:00 AM.

Important Trail Notes
The advance booking amount is non-refundable and the full trip amount is due at the time of boarding. Carry a valid government photo ID for every traveller; it is checked before boarding. The itinerary can change because of weather, landslides, road closures or safety reasons. Any extra stay, food or transport cost caused by such delays is borne by the travellers. Vehicle AC is not run on hill roads. Drinking and smoking are not allowed during the journey. Seating in the vehicle is decided by the trip captain. Please keep the mountains clean and carry your waste back. What to pack: backpack, rain layer, sports shoes, refillable bottle, jacket, sunscreen, power bank, government photo ID, some cash and a polybag for your waste.
