Safety & Instructions

1Carry a valid government photo ID; it is checked before boarding.
2Udaipur can be hot; carry sun protection, a cap and water.
3Dress modestly at temples. The Dilwara Jain temples have set visiting hours and restrictions on photography and leather items.
4Entry tickets, boat rides and the ropeway are paid on the spot unless the package says otherwise.
5Keep some cash for markets and local transport.
6On overnight drives keep valuables with you and carry a light jacket for the AC.

Important Note

Most Udaipur attractions charge entry or boat fees that are not part of the package price, so keep a small budget for them. Hotels are subject to availability and a similar property may be used.
